Dear friends,
Military-backed Ahbisit’s government of Thailand has started its latest round of violent assault on pro-democracy Red-Shirts protesters since 13 may 2010, and still pushing forward to end the pro-democracy protest in Bangkok with severe violence and blooshed.
The Red-shirt pro-democracy movement which converged on Bangkok since 14 March 2010 has grown into the largest democratic movement in the history of Thailand and has shaken the power structure of the ruling elite especially the royalists. The current bloody crackdown against pro-democacy Red-shirts is one of the worst in Thai history.
Since 10 April, there are already over 70 people died as a result of the army atrocities.
The people of Thailand are in urgent need of your support and solidarity - to prevent further loss of innocent life and finally establish democratic justice
The military forces must be withdrawn. The Abhisit Government must step-down. There is no other way. There must be a General Election as soon as possible.
The United Nations is needed to ensure that violence cannot escalate in Thailand, to mediate between the opposing parties, to oversee proceeding for a General Election and to establish an international commission to investigate the shooting of hundreds of civilians.
This is a critical moment in a time of deep crisis and we must act quickly.
We call upon friends in Malaysia who are concerning over the situation in Thailand and supporting people’s struggle for democracy and social justice, to voice your protest and call upon government of Malaysia to take action to stop massacre in Thailand.

MALAYSIA MUST TAKE ACTION TO STOP MASSACRE IN BANGKOK
We, ___________________, write to you to raise our concern over the escalating violent crackdown on pro-democracy Red-Shirt protesters in Bangkok. We condemn the atrocities committed by the Thai military against pro-democracy protesters who demanded for democracy and an end to military-backed unelected government.
We call upon Government of Malaysia, as the closest neighbour of Thailand, to take immediate actions:
1. Expel Thai Ambassador to protest against the massacre in Bangkok and pressure Thai government to remove immediately all military forces throughout the country and restore democracy.
2. Open the door of Malaysian Embassy in Bangkok to allow victims of Thai military's crackdown to take refuge.
3. Call for UN intervention to mediate between the opposing parties, to oversee proceeding for a General Election and to establish an international commission to investigate the shooting of hundreds of civilians.
We urge Malaysia government to act immediately to prevent further loss of innocent life!
Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
